The name of the register
User database for Etnoteam Finland usability studies
Grounds for maintenance of the register
Consent for user study of the person registered (the consent follows the personal data act 3, paragraph 7).
Purpose of the register
The personal data is used for finding the suitable people for Etnoteam Finland usability studies.
Data stored in the register
The register contains information given by the person such as name, birth year, sex, address and other contact and extra information.
Source of information according to the rules
Personal data is only collected through Etnoteam Finland web site (at www.etnoteam.fi).
Personal data can be collected and updated also when a person participates in usability studies.
Transfer of the data
Etnoteam Finland does not give a person's name or contact information to an outside party unless a supplier needs it for a personal contact on behalf of Etnoteam Finland.
The information is not handled or transferred outside the European Union or European Economic Area.
Protection of the register
The right of use of the register requires a user account granted by an administrator. Accessing the database requires a personal password. The use of the register and logging in to the database are monitored.
The data is collected to joint databases that are protected by firewalls, passwords and other technical means. The databases are located in locked premises and the data can be accessed only by predefined people.
Right of inspection
According to the personal data act (26), the person registered has a right to check what information has been stored to the register about him. The request for inspection is to be sent in writing and signed to the following address:
