What was the starting point and objective of the project?
Movenium Oy had produced a new and more sophisticated platform for their work time data monitoring software, Time Tracker. Years of experience was transferred as improvements to the new platform, but development of the user interface was completely over-run by the technical development and implementation of new features to the product.
It was clear from the start that there are parts in the product that require further development, but we wanted to get outsider’s professional opinion on the most critical issues. One object was to get also improvement suggestions that are concrete and easy to implement with the evaluation results.
How did Etnoteam help you to resolve the situation?
Already in the offering phase Etnoteam’s grasp seemed professional. Etnoteam stood out from the competition by their swiftness and willing to serve: during the summer holiday season our request was reacted fast and already after one week from the assignment we had well defined and well analyzed report in our hands.
What was the outcome of the project?
The report pointed out several improvement areas. Because we received the report so quickly we were able to work on these issues during the holiday season and it was advantageous on resource wise. Etnoteam also pointed out things for us that we wouldn’t have noticed being ‘blind’ to our own product.
Based on the work so far it is easy to keep Etnoteam in mind when the usability tests in the future will become a current topic.
