Etnoteam Finland organized an afternoon seminar for our clients and partners in Helsinki on 18.11.2011. The theme of the seminar was international user experience, "Creating Global User Experiences".

For a month several families in Vantaa are reading their local news on an e-reader to test a new electrical newspaper concept whose ease-of-use Etnoteam Finland has been ensuring. In a concept test that was launched in Vantaa on September the 13th Vantaa’s local news will appear via digital TV network to an extremely thin and low-powered electrical reading device developed in Finland. The test in Vantaa is aimed to find out how the new, light and simple e-reader device - where the local news appear daily - would fit the readers’ everyday life instead of the traditional newspaper.

Microsoft’s Principle Director of User Experience, Arnie Lund, has published ‘the first complete toolbox of tried and tested UX management techniques’. The handbook includes insights from many leading UX managers, from e.g. Lucent Technologies, SAP, Abbott, Sapient, and Microsoft.
